Register a new Motolite battery warranty, or check the status of an existing one. Have your battery serial code ready.
Enter the serial code found on your battery sticker or warranty card.
Four steps, about two minutes. Have your battery and your receipt with you.
The serial code is printed on the sticker or warranty card that came with the battery, usually on the top face beside the Motolite logo. It mixes letters and numbers and looks like this:
QRMX6000285003
Type it exactly as printed, with no spaces.
If the sticker is dirty or faded, wipe it gently with a dry cloth. Never scrape it — the code cannot be recovered once it is gone, and it is the only thing that ties the battery to your warranty record.
Motolite guarantees the original owner that the battery is free from factory defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship. If it fails within the warranty period for one of those reasons, it is replaced with a new battery of the same size, type and brand.
Covered
Not covered
A replacement battery carries the remaining warranty of the original — the original period less the service life already used, not a fresh full term.
Bring the battery and these two documents to any FGR Care branch. Our team tests the battery on the spot and processes the replacement if it qualifies.
Original receipt
The sales invoice or official receipt from your purchase.
Warranty card
The card issued with the battery, showing its warranty period.
The battery itself
It has to be tested before a replacement can be issued.
It depends on the model — Motolite's official warranty runs from 18 to 36 months. The exact period for your battery is printed on the warranty card that came with it, and the branch that sold it can confirm it for you.
As soon as you can after buying. Registration puts your coverage on record with Motolite, so the details are already on file when you need them instead of depending on a receipt you might misplace.
Check the code again — 0 and O, and 1 and I, are easy to mix up on a printed sticker. If it still fails, message us a photo of the label and we will verify it for you.
That means the warranty is active. For the registered owner's privacy, we do not display the full record online. Any FGR Care branch can confirm the coverage details for you in minutes.
Yes. The original sales invoice or official receipt and the warranty card are what the branch requires for an actual claim. Online registration records your coverage; it does not replace those documents.
