Reading the label on your current battery

The quickest way to be certain is to look at the battery already in your vehicle. Three things on that label tell you what to buy.

Group size

NS40, NS60, DIN66, 3SMF

The physical size and terminal layout. This is the part that has to match — a battery that does not fit the tray or reaches the cables from the wrong side cannot be installed safely.

Cold cranking amps

CCA 400

How much starting power the battery can deliver. Fitting less than your vehicle calls for is the usual reason a car cranks slowly after a replacement.

Type

MF, EFB, AGM

Maintenance-free, enhanced flooded, or absorbent glass mat. Vehicles with start-stop systems need EFB or AGM — a standard battery will not last in one.

Not sure what you are looking at? Take a photo of the label and message it to us. Our team reads these every day and will tell you the exact match in minutes — free, and with no obligation to buy.

Signs you need a replacement

In Philippine heat, most car batteries last two to three years. These are the warnings that usually come first — often weeks before the battery finally gives out.

  • The engine cranks slowly, especially on the first start of the day
  • Headlights dim noticeably when the engine is idling
  • You have needed a jumpstart more than once
  • The battery is already past three years old
  • White or blue powder has built up around the terminals
  • The car sits unused for long stretches, or only makes short trips

Common questions

What if my vehicle is not on the list?

Call or message us with your make, model and year. The list covers the most common vehicles in the Philippines, but our team can match anything — including trucks, vans, motorcycles and imported units.

Can I just use the same size as my old battery?

Usually yes, and it is the fastest way to be sure. Read the label on the battery that is in the car now and match the group size. Tell us the code and we will confirm it fits before we deliver.

Does a bigger battery mean it lasts longer?

Not by itself. A battery has to fit the tray and match what the charging system expects. Going beyond what your vehicle needs adds cost without adding life — what shortens battery life here is heat, short trips and an alternator that is not charging properly.
